What is your favourite part of volunteering for Cherished Gowns UK?
Hands down, without a shadow of a doubt, is helping to support bereaved families. Just knowing that providing our items gives them some comfort at such a difficult time.
Who taught you to sew/knit/crochet?
I taught myself to sew after my Mother in Law sadly passed away and I inherited all her sewing machines and fabric. I am a home sewer and love to make dresses for my daughter, her friends, and my family. However, she is now 9 and sewing her own dresses!!
Do you have Pets?
I have 2 absolutely bonkers Cockapoo’s, Duggie & Sandy who love nothing more than a good sofa snuggle! We also have 2 gerbils, Raptor & Steggy who belong to my son.
